It may surprise you. You have probably undergone testing of all sorts. There are a few things you probably haven’t considered. Women with O Blood Type generally are twice as likely to have ovaries that seem older than their age. This could account for the lack of egg production and pregnancy.
Also, where the male is concerned, they do all kinds of testing such as sperm count, volume, concentration, motility and morphology. These tests don’t tell the whole story. A sperm DNA Damage test should be performed and may highlight the culprit causing the idiopathic infertility, when doctors don’t see any reason why you are not getting pregnant. Consult your physician and request he do a comet assay. This test measures the DNA damage in an individual sperm. When this test shows that 25% of the sperm are damaged, the doctor will usually recommend Intracystoplasmic Sperm Injection. This procedure involves selecting sperm and injecting it directly into the egg.
